Beyond the Flatlands – Adrienne Millwood

Adrienne Millwood is a mixed media artist based in Christchurch. We met while studying and working together at the University of Canterbury School of Fine Arts, and have had collaborated on multiple projects. For a solo show at {Suite} in Wellington with a preview in Christchurch, Adrienne asked me to produce a series of three posters.

The front of each poster was a detail image from works that were on display, printed in duo colour using the risograph at Ilam Press. Each image was stripped of colour and recoloured through colour separation and image manipulation, becoming works of their own. The reverse has a short text by Robin Neate and an exhibition list. Posters were available at each show for visitors.
