A small selection of work produced during my fixed-term contract at Christ’s College
I was tasked with redesigning College magazine. This included a refresh of the look and feel, a redesign of the grid, a new colour scheme, and updated photography guidelines. College magazine has a readership of roughly 7,000 people throughout New Zealand and overseas — including current students and their families, along with past students and the wider school community. I felt that the refresh was a great opportunity to modernise the design, go for a cleaner and more balanced page layout, and make it more accessible to a wider audience.

In conjunction with the appointment of a new Chaplain for Christ’s College, the Executive Principal asked me to produce a fold-out brochure that could be made available for visitors to the College Chapel. As a key component to the function and architecture of the school, this brochure helps to introduce the Anglican history of the school, and also includes the newly commissioned College Waiata and Hymn.
Along with being responsible for all of the in-house graphic design and marketing, a significant part of my role was photographing the day-to-day goings on at the school. Here are a few of my favourite images.
