Mono 1:1 – The Bureau, Melbourne

Mono 1:1 was a series of 6 short exhibitions held at The Bureau in Melbourne over two seasons in 2014. Proposed as a method of exhibiting New Zealand artists overseas in a cost effective manor, Mono 1:1 embraced the limitations set by overseas postage by calling for artworks that are small and easy to post. Mono 1:1 was curated by Julian Holcroft and Robin Neate.

This project was an interesting look into those same limitations given to the artists, and the result is a small and easy to post exhibition catalogue. Printed in an edition of 200, each with an essay and image.

The catalogues were printed at Ilam Press on the risograph.
