These Stories Began Before We Arrived, curated by Jamie Hanton, Charlotte Huddleston and Bruce E. Phillips, was held in association with the 2015 Taipei International Book Exhibition. The exhibition was a collaboration between the University of Canterbury, ST PAUL St Gallery and Te Tuhi Centre For The Arts, exhibiting artwork by New Zealand and Taiwanese artists. 

For the Taipei exhibition in 2015, I produced digital and printed invitations, exhibition vinyl and signage, and plus an exhibition booklet with images and short written piece for each artist. As I printed the booklet on the risograph at Ilam Press, the use of risograph red and blue was the starting point for the branding, establishing a striking yet simple visual language for the exhibition and accompanying material.

The exhibition then had a second iteration for Artweek Auckland as a Te Tuhi Offsite event at the Wynyard Quarter in central Auckland. The original signage was edited slightly to suit the change of location, with the addition of a billboard. The booklet was offered as a digital download from the Te Tuhi website.
